Welding Schools and Training Programs
Welders work on projects as large as skyscrapers, ships and bridges, and as small as fastening sections of pipe together, creating iron handrails, or repairing parts on industrial machinery. Welding demands responsibility and accuracy, since the welds a welder creates must be able to withstand pressure or weight without failing.
Technical schools with welding training programs teach basic welding techniques, including MIG and TIG gas welding. They learn metal cutting techniques, and about different types of welds, and where they are used.
