American InterContinental University Media Production program gives you hands on experience in a television studio and recording studio on your way to your associate or bachelor level degree. You'll learn scriptwriting, producing and directing as you create everything from music videos to newsmagazines. Your training will prepare you for a career in broadcasting, cable, or corporate communications. Both locations offer a bachelor's degree, while the Atlanta campus also offers an associate degree.
Brooks Institute offers the perfect environment for those in its Film and Video Production bachelor degree program. Campus facilities are located in a former motion picture studio, complete with sound stages and back lot. The program concentrates on all aspects of film production and direction techniques, from concept development to final editing. Concentrations are available in Commercial Film, Feature Film, and Visual Effects and Animation. Students gain hands on experience with many of the tasks required to create a film or video, including lighting, sound and camera work.
Brown College provides hands on experience in the creation of television programming with its Associate degree in television production. The 15 month program includes training at the school's multi-camera recording studio, and on location. Graduates are prepared for positions in the television, cable or satellite broadcasting industries.
The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University teaches preproduction, production, and postproduction skills in its nine month certificate program in Digital Filmmaking. In addition to receiving hands-on experience with camera operation and production equipment, students gain skills in directing, storytelling, and cinematography.
Collins College offers two programs to help students learn the art of video production. The Digital Video Production associate degree program covers pre-production, production, and post production techniques, concentrating in video/television and cinema. The program starts with the principles of creating scripts, and moves on to shooting video and learning about lighting and sound. The FIlm & Video Production bachelor degree program explores the creation of film images, and the differences between HDTV, film, and digital video.
The F.I.R.S.T. School prepares students for entry-level positions in the world of filmmaking with its eight month Film and Video Production diploma program. Coursework includes hands-on experience in real world sound stages and non-linear editing stations using tools such as Final Cut Pro and Avid.

Minnesota School of Business Digital Video and Media Production degree is designed to prepare students for a career in 21st century media. The program includes training in the entire process of creating a DVD, from scripting to adding sound and video, to editing the finished products. Students gain hands-on experience as they earn their Associate degree, along with certifications in Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and AVID Express Pro.
New England Institute of Technology teaches digital film making and digital editing in its Digital Recording Arts Technology Bachelor degree program. Students get hands-on experience with broadcast quality equipment, as they work on projects including field shoots, pre- and post production, and multi-track recording and mixing. The program also provides training in the specialized areas of advertising, corporate media, and video conferencing.
