Accounting Training Schools
If you've got a mind for numbers, a career in accounting could be for you. Accountants keep track of business or personal finances, and determine whether a company makes a profit or a loss. Schools with accounting training teach accounting principles, specialized accounting, including tax accounting, and economics and finance.
Harrison College offers an entry-level Accounting Assistant diploma program which teaches basic accounting skills, bookkeeping, and computerized accounting. More advanced training is provided in the Associate degree in Accounting, including cost accounting, tax accounting, and internal auditing. The Accounting degree is also available online. Credits from the diploma program may be transferred to the degree program.
International Business College can get your accounting career started with its fast track training program. You can receive an Associate degree in 14 months. Courses include financial analysis, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
Computer Certification Preparation Schools
Passing industry standard certification exams can lead to a job in the information technology field, or can let you advance your current career. These exams are sponsored by hardware and software vendors, or industry associations to set a standard of competency in areas such as networking, databases, or application software.
