Medical Sonography in Georgia
Medical sonography, sometimes known as medical ultrasound, uses sound waves to create images of the body for medical diagnosis. Diagnostic medical sonography is used during pregnancy, to examine and diagnose conditions involving the heart, and to detect illness in the eyes, the brain, and other organs. Diagnostic medical sonographers use sonographic equipment to capture images and prepare reports that will later be interpreted by a physician.
