Apollo College prepares students to set up private practices, or to work in a physical therapy facility or chiropractic office with its Massage Therapy diploma program. The program provides training in massage techniques, including Swedish massage. Students also learn about the body's skeletal and muscular systems, and develop their practice management and success skills.
Baker College helps students learn the techniques used in massage therapy and bodywork with its certificate and associate degree programs. Students have the opportunity to practice their technique in the lab, and are prepared for the national certification examination. The associate degree program includes an internship and general education courses.
