Louisville Technical Institute teaches students the fundamentals of residential and commercial interior design with its diploma and degree programs. The nine month diploma teaches basic skills, including computer aided drafting and space planning. The 18 month Associate degree program includes courses in lighting design, kitchen and bath design, and contract interiors. The 36 month Bachelor's degree program includes advanced studies in design, and courses in project management, sustainable design, and universal design. The degree programs include an internship.
